A Hiking Tour of Mt.Takao and its Exciting Sights
0.0/5.0

Walk up a stream and discover a religious cave!

Been to Mt.Takao before? You have not seen the real Mt.Takao until you have seen what is introduced on this tour. The trail on which your otomo tour guide will take you on this tour is the 6th trail which is intertwined with a stream. You will pass a cave which is said to have been created by a famous Japanese monk called Kobo Daishi and a waterfall where you can watch monks training, called the Biwa Waterfall. To get to the top, you must walk through a stream, over stepping stones, and also climb a steep set of wooden stairs. Once you get to the top, the views are spectacular. When the sky is clear, you can see all the way across to Tokyo Bay, where the stream that you just climbed ends up!
