You will visit three world heritages of the eight in Nara on this tour! If you like Japanese architecture, history or art you better book this tour right now!
Each of the spots you will visit has interesting features such as a three-storied pagoda which looks like to have six stories and a small five-storied pagoda stored in a room. If you are lucky, you can take pictures of the illuminated five-storied pagoda with deer around it!
To visit all those spots, you will have to use public transportation which is troublesome in a foreign country, but you have your otomo guide on this tour who will take you around!

・The first world heritage you will visit is Yakushiji Temple which has two three-storied pagodas. Each roof has another roof on it so it looks like it has six stories!
・The second one is Gangoji Temple which used to cover nearly all of the Naramachi area as the precinct 1300 years ago. It has a five-storied pagoda small which is only 5.5 meters high!
・The third one is Kokfukuji Temple which has a huge five-storied pagoda. You can walk freely around it and there are deer walking around it sometimes!
・Yakushiji Temple: Discover the secret why it looks like a six-storied pagoda although it is a three-storied pagoda. They reproduce the burned down temple so you can see the beautiful contrast of vermilion and gold as it used to be!
・Gangoji Temple: A small five-storied pagoda is stored in a room. If you are underestimating it because it is small, you are wrong! It is a decent piece of architectural work which you will realize when visiting! The roof using 1300 years old tile is a must to see!
・Kashiya, Nara: A traditional Japanese sweets shop representing Nara! Enjoy sweets in an elegant atmosphere in a beautiful traditional Japanese house.
・Kofukuji Temple: One of the most famous temples in Nara. There is a breathtaking statue of Buddha.
・Please come in comfortable clothing, as this tour involves a lot of walking.
・The tour begins and ends in different locations. If you would like to change the location of where the tour ends, please consult with your tour guide.
・We have not included any particular lunch/dinner places in this tour, but you are welcome to stop for a break and eat at resting places.
