This is a day plan to visit historical town with kimono
Nara has flourished as a central city of Japan more than 1,000 years ago so it still has many remains and streets with ancient atmosphere! You will visit those streets on this tour, but also a café where you can play with owls and a spot where you can make your own plastic food model!
You will also rent a “kimono”! Imagine the pictures you will take on historical streets wearing a “kimono”. No doubt that it will be the best souvenir for yourself of this tour!
Talking about souvenirs for yourself, you will also make an Incense and an accessory made from deer horn!

・Discover Nara to your fullest! There are many tourists who only visit temples in Nara since it is famous for it but actually there are many other spots to visit!
・Rent a “kimono” and take pictures on a historical street!
・Make your own plastic food sample which is the Japanese original technique!
・Play with owls as much as you want! Owl cafés in Tokyo are so crowded that you have to leave within a few hours but you can stay at the owl café on this tour until you are fully satisfied with it!
・Rental Kimono Sakura: Pick your favorite “kimono” and get dressed here! You can take pictures at traditional streets wearing a “kimono” on this tour!
・Morino Sample: You can make your own plastic food sample! You will make a keychain modeling a piece of cake!
・Glass Beads Shop "Jubee": Have you heard about “tombo-dama”? It is a colorfully striped ball made from glass. You can make your own one here!
・Naramachi Zoo&Kagirohi: A workshop where craftsmen practice traditional Nara handcraft! You can make your own Japanese handcraft such as an accessory made from deer horn and a cat-shaped ornament!
・Naramachi Animal Shelter Zoo: The place that is becoming more and more popular among tourists from outside Japan! It is a café where you can play with owls! People who visit an owl café are usually suspicious at first but so satisfied at the end that they don’t want to go home!
・Please come in comfortable clothing, as this tour involves a lot of walking.
・We have not included any particular lunch/dinner places in this tour, but you are welcome to stop for a break and eat at resting spots.
・On Tuesdays and Wednesdays ""Yu-Yu Kobo Zoo&Kagirohi"" is closed. If any of the scheduled places are closed on the day you visit, your tour guide will take you to an alternative location.
