Arashiyama is famous for its shrines and temples but if you climb the mountain, there is a facility where they have more than a hundred monkeys! You can touch them and even feed them! This is not what you will do often in the usual zoo.
At the next spot, you can choose your favorite owl and have them on your arm! This is also not a common experience every tourist has in Japan!
You will also visit famous tourists spots and chill along a river.

・Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama: A park where wild monkeys live. You can touch and feed them and the changing greenery according to the season will also satisfy you!
・Kotogase Cyaya: A Japanese pub located along a river. They also serve rice dumplings, fish, beer and so on to people on a boat in the river!
・Togetsukyo Bridge: A famous bridge across the iconic river: Katsura River. It is really a photogenic spot so don’t forget to bring your camera!
・Ishikawa Takeno-mise Shouryu-en: A shop specializing in bamboo work! Enjoy the elaborate work of the professional craftsmen! They also perform how they actually work so don’t miss it!

・Please come in comfortable clothing, as you will walk about 20 minutes at Arahiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama.
・Please note that you cannot get into Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama. If needed, your tour guide will take you to an alternative location.
