Beautiful greenery, fresh air, and solemn temples and shrines!
You will travel more than an hour from central Kyoto to those spots on this tour. It might sound a bit nuisance to move a lot but the further from the central city, the more spots left from 1,000 years ago.
There are many anecdotes unique to Kyoto such as one about a woman who evacuated from Kyoto under war, a ceiling board with blood stain of samurai’s who have suicided during the war, and so on.
What would you think of at those spots with many thoughts of predecessors? You can lose yourself in thought while watching the garden at a temple and have Japanese green tea.
Don’t forget to book your tour to visit temples and shrines deep in the mountain!
・Appreciate cherry blossoms(in early April), hydrangea(in June), and autumn leaves(from mid-November to mid-December)!

There is a unique way of observing the garden from the room: suppose pillars of the buildings are borders of a picture frame and look at the garden through the imaginary “picture frame”. Have some Japanese green tea, Japanese sweets, and appreciate the view and relax!
・Ohara Riverside Café Kirin: There are many spots to see in Ohara, but there are also spots not only to see but also to eat! Since this place is rich in nature, there grow many kinds of vegetables. This spot is a restaurant ran by a vegetable sommelier who fell in love with vegetables!
