Do you like alcohol? What type? The Japanese love to drink, beer, whisky, shochu etc. Of course some people do not enjoy drinking as much. This tour highlights the sake spots!
This time we will visit Hyogo, a residential area a little off the center of Kobe. It has been famous for alcohol for many years, and to this day it is where the most alcohol is made in Japan. On this tour we will take you to a recommended sake brewery where you will learn about the history of sake. Of course you can enjoy the tasting!
You will also visit other spots where you can feel the lives of the Japanese. Maybe you can experience the Japanese way of drinking? Why not discover a new charm to sake?

Attractions

・Hama Fukutsuru Ginjo Kobo: If you join this tour, you most likely want to drink Japanese sake. How about learning how to make sake before tasting it? You can also watch sake being made infront of you. If you know about the history of sake, it will make everything taste more delicious!
・Rokko otomedzuka onsen: "Otome no yu" is a hot spring public bath located in a residential area. Although we won’t have the opportunity to take a bath on this tour, if you use the food and drink corner you will be able to feel the public bath atmosphere and catch a glimpse of everyday Japanese life.
・Kobeshushinkan: 250 years since the Edo period, it is a brewery manufacturer that has been passed on 23 generations. Taste “Fukusui” which has been served at the Nobel Prize dinner parties. This is a popular spot for otomo staff members. There is no doubt you will want to take back some sake souvenirs for your friends and family at home!
・Kobe Konan Muko-no-sato: Next we will learn about various foods made from sake. Here you can see exhibits of tsukemono and mirin. Sake is also involved in this! Remember to enjoy the unique architecture too!
・Ishiya River Park: It is a park where the locals relax, following the neighborhood river. Enjoy the park to the fullest by taking along some sake you bought at each spot, some snacks and other drinks popular to the Japanese!

・Tour finishing point is different to tour starting point. Please consult the guide if you would like to change your finishing point.
・Lunch (dinner) is not included, however meals can be purchased along the way
・”Hama Fukutsuru Ginjo Kobo” is closed on Mondays. Please note other spots maybe changed if temporarily closed.
