・Naruto City Tourist Information Centre: A tourist information centre where you can get information about Naruto City, and rent a bicycle for the tour which you’ll ride to your next location, all the while you’re enjoying the scenery along the strait.
・Fukunaga Family Residence: A private house built about 200 years ago. Although you can only visit the exterior, you can understand how closely related to daily life salt production was in the area. This is a valuable house in understanding the history of Naruto City.
・Naruto Uchinoumi General Park: This park is located right next to the Uchinoumi Sea. From the promenade, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the scenic beauty of the Uchinoumi Sea. You can also see fishing boats and aquaculture farms, giving you a glimpse into the lives of the local people who live in nature.
・Whirlpool Path: A 450-metre-long promenade inside the Onaruto Bridge. The whirlpools of Naruto, a result of one of the three fastest currents in the world, can be seen from the glass floor of the observation room. The power of these whirlpools is quite overwhelming. You can also enjoy panoramic view of the Naruto Strait from here.
・Uzumi Chaya: This restaurant serves dishes made with locally harvested sea bream and wakame (seaweed). You can savour your meal while looking out the window at the spectacular view of the Naruto Strait. At the souvenir shop, which has an old-fashioned appearance, you can also buy themed and local souvenirs.
・Uzushio Kisen: A cruise ship from which you can see the whirlpools of Naruto. As the boat moves into the Naruto Strait, the powerful whirlpools start to appear before your eyes. Feel the flow of the tide, and enjoy taking pictures of this scenery, unique to here.
・Okazaki Tosadomari Ferry Terminal: These boats, used by the locals for commuting and shopping, will make you feel like a resident of Naruto. On the other side of the river, small boats are lined up all along the shore, a sign that the sea, and the river, are deeply rooted in people's lives. The bicycles used on the tour will be transported with you on the ferry as well.
